Day 6 of the maiden voyage from Corsica to Albania

Updated: Oct 3, 2018

RIBELLU has made pretty good progress, we are tonight 4nm east of Capri, on our maiden voyage to Albania. So far, we have logged 361.05 nautical miles, done some sailing (a beautiful beam reach yesterday under full sail in 12-17kts was the highlight) and alot of motoring, lost one laser pro marlboro lure this morning (spewing), seen dolphins 3 times, not able to take pictures of dolphins any times, and so far anchored for free every night except one (a 25 euro mooring on day 1). A port call awaits in coming days to top up fuel, beer, bread and vegetables. RIBELLU is performing way above expectations, touch wood and prayers to neptune that it stays that way! Enroute further south tomorrow and messina strait within the next few days. Oh and our plan today to anchor at capri got shutdown, what a mess that place is in summer and the amount of plastic and rubbish in the water for a few miles on approach was ridiculous!
